Athabasca Landing, 1913. Athabasca Archives AA00764

Welcome!

Athabasca Heritage Society (AHS) is a volunteer organization whose roots are grounded in activism. The Society formed in 1998 to initiate the revitalization of the Town of Athabasca riverfront through the purchase of a plot of land to protect it from commercial development. For over ten years, AHS has also managed the restoration of Athabasca's CNoR train station, creating a community space for recreational, educational and cultural purposes.
